French Bulldogs make excellent family pets. They are very affectionate and their size makes them good for apartments too. They are not very vocal but their farts can clear a room!

They are intelligent but very stubborn. Because they are a brachycephalic breed they will not tolerate hot climates or excercise.

Although they have a short coat they do tend to shed. A short daily brushing should help manage the issue.

Since the French Bulldog is a brachycephalic breed they tend to have breathing issues. They are able to walk short distances, but that can vary dog-dog. Just get to know your Frenchie and decide whats best for them :)

There are some that can, but most will sink. Be safe and get a life jacket gor your little buddy. Trust us, we have Labradors and the Frenchies always try their first swim attempt in the pond but fail.
